But then the Rad Rides book arrived in the mail, a pre-copy, as they go on sale on May 7th. I'm strongly impressed I have to admit. The quality book kicks off with a little introduction, explanation and then quickly moves into the bikes from the 1970-s, the 1980-s, followed by the 1990-s and 2000 and beyond. It doesn't cover the Raleigh Burners only either. The book goes way into the fine BMX bikes that were ever made and the photography is top notch as well.
Flipping through the book brings back so many memories, and therefore I say it's a must have for anyone who has an interest in BMX bikes and its history. If you're only concerned about your Profile mini cassette hub, next web edit, skinny jeans and Cult T-shirt, this is not for you. If you've lived through the development of the sport, I'm sure you'll dig it. The paperback version will cost you 18.95 British Pound. The ISBN number is - 978 1 85669 726 2.
