How did you get your own park to start with?
Rim Nakamura: Compared to other countries, there aren’t many parks in Japan so I requested it to my sponsor.
Is the park a public place, or do you get to use it just for yourself?
Rim Nakamura: I am riding just for myself.
Is the building brand new?
Rim Nakamura: Yes.
Who helped with the design of the park?
Rim Nakamura: I designed it with reference to parks in the world.
How long did it take from the first plan to the first session?
Rim Nakamura: It took about a year and a half to complete it.
How does it feel that in these times you have a spot to ride?
Rim Nakamura: I am so grateful to my sponsor.
How far of a drive is it from your home?
Rim Nakamura: It takes 30 minutes by car.
What are the Covid-19 restrictions where you live at the moment?
Rim Nakamura: I’m at my hometown in Kyoto Japan. Japan had a declaration of a state of emergency. The government is requesting that people refrain from going outside unless they urgently need to.
How big is the park?
Rim Nakamura: It is like a FISE course.
What's there to ride?
Rim Nakamura: I can practice a basically trick and there is box, spine, quarter etc......

How often do you ride at the park?
Rim Nakamura: I ride almost everyday.

Rim Nakamura: Myself, hahaha.
With the Olympics moved to 2021, you have some more time to practice. When is the next session for you at the park?
Rim Nakamura: Future, we will win covid-19. We should be positive even against this virus. I keep riding.
