Cory Coffey: It’s pretty awesome… I’ve always dreamed of having ramps at my house. Just have to have good weather and it's a go.
What's there to ride?
Cory Coffey: Roll in to box jump, hip, 9 ft quarter, step up, spine, 7ft quarter, and wall ride. The ramp setup is a “L” shape...
I also have all the foam and rest to put onto the box if I want, but at the moment I have it off.
How is it holding up in the Detroit weather conditions?
Cory Coffey: So far so good, we get a lot of winter weather with lots of ice and snow and it seems to be doing great.. we put a new coat of paint on it last year and it's good. It could use a good power washing though because my kids love to smear mud on it at times and the dogs muddy paws.
How long did it take to build the ramps? Who built it?
Cory Coffey: The entire project took about a week and Cory Wiergowski from Ramped Construction and crew built it. He’s a total badass rider himself and a solid dude who is amazing at building ramps. @rampedconstruction
Do you get regular requests from people who want to ride it?
Cory Coffey: There's a fair amount of people who ask to ride and lots of people almost daily who are peeping the ramps from the road.
What are the Covid-19 restrictions where you live at the moment?
Cory Coffey: Everyone is ordered to stay at home at the moment until the end of April… could go on for longer.
When's your next session going to be?
Cory Coffey: I try and ride everyday… but our Spring is a little rough.. at the moment we have snow flurries and 25mph winds… so hopefully in the next couple of days if it's not raining or snowing.
Thanks to?
Cory Coffey: Ramped Construction and of course my husband Stephen McGee who flipped the bill for the ramps.
