Are the neighbors okay with the set-up in your backyard?
Logan Martin: Not really. Before the park was finished I had a few neighbours complain to the council so they ended up coming out and approving it all which was great for me. And every few months a new complaint comes in, the last one being about 2 weeks ago which was a noise complaint haha. For the most part, I think the neighbours chilled out a bit after the park was finished and they realised it wasn’t an ‘eye sore’ for the neighbourhood.
Who helped out finance the park?
Logan Martin: I had a few of my sponsors jump on board and help out a lot. So Rockstar energy, Hyper BMX, Snafu BMX and Fist handwear. They were a huge help!
If you need something built or moved, who are you gonna call?
Logan Martin: I do the maintenance myself and if I need a hand moving stuff a few of my friends that come ride are always down to help me! For any of the bigger jobs like building a new ramp I’ll always get the MAN Jason Watts on the job!
Have any "world-firsts" happened at your place?
Logan Martin: I actually don't think so!
How good does it feel to roll out of bed and have a place to ride right there?
Logan Martin: It honestly feels so good! Not only for the obvious reason that I can ride at any time but also it feels great knowing I work so hard to have what I do.
Was it all worth it?
Logan Martin: 100% ! I believe it played a huge part in winning 2 gold medals at Xgames. And for that reason alone it will be forever worth it.
