The city of Shanghai will once again host KIA X Games Asia, Asia's premiere action sports competition, as it returns to China for the second consecutive year-celebrating 10 years of Asian X Games events. This year the event will showcase more than 200 of the best action sports athletes from more than 20 countries and five continents in world-class competition in the sports of Skateboard, BMX Freestyle, In-line skate and Sport Climbing. New to the Asian X Games, this year's event will feature Moto X Step Up, which will be accompanied by a Moto X Freestyle demonstration. Televised live from Shanghai's KIC Jiangwan Stadium, X Games Asia will air April 30 - May 3, 2008 on ESPN Asia Networks and will be organized by sports broadcaster

DC and SE Bikes have joined together to release the Quadangle, a classic frame from SE’s stable. The “Loop Tail Quad”, as it was known, will be the second joint release from the DC x SE partnership. The two brands released a recreated PK Ripper in April of 2007. Less than 500 redesigned Quadangle bikes will be released Spring 2008 to exclusive shops worldwide.

-After 2 unforunate accidents in quick succesion Mark Webb is only a month away from being certified fully fit again & will be riding the first round of the Braun Cruzer Tour in Montpellier @ FISE in a few weeks. Mark has also just had a 7ft mini ramp built in his garden by Shaun Scarfe & crew so he doesn't have to travel too far to perfect his skillage.

-Mark Webb & Kyle Blake also recently returned from China where they rode the Chinese Extreme Sports Championship or something? Mark placed 1st & Kyle secured a respectable 5th in his first major event.

-I'm MC'ing @ FISE this year which I am pretty stoked about....

Mike Spinner recently released some killer tricks. He is the first rider to pull a 720 double tailwhip (on the resi) and Mark Losey shot some sequences of Mike doing a triple whip on a quarterpipe and also a triple whip over a hip.  All at Dave Mirra's warehouse where shit goes down! Oh yeah, he learnt flairs too. We caught up with Spinner for a Top 5 list.

3 days ago I celebrated my 26th birthday! Looking back I think about how time seems to just come and go! Mentally I still feel as though I'm that 13yr old kid who only thought about how he was going to be able scrounge up $60 plus dollars (or however much I needed) to pay for a new set of forks. You see, back then I lived for learning how to ride 3ft high jumps! I'd finish a day of repeatedly casing over the second jump so badly that I couldn't make it onto the 3rd set but just yet so much fun. This would leave me contemplating whether or not I would be able to simply bend the forks back before they broke off or if I needed to bite the bullet and acquire new ones.

At 13, taking my bike and making a career of riding jumps was only a fantasy. I never really thought it would get me to where I am today. However, as I could never get enough of riding and was willing to
