The Superstar website is updated and redesigned. It's been online for 30 minutes now... 2008 stuff is now visible online and it will be possible to download the product catalogue very soon. New feature of the site is the frame comparator: 1 page to compare specs between New Deal and Light My Fire frame. Easier than switching from one page to another. Within 4 weeks, we'll add 2 more pages on the site: history of Superstar and another thing which is too complicated to explain now for me...

Just one week left to premiere of the Parano-Garage Bcrossionale Film Festival. The deadline to send in your DVD´s is over and the six special "Judge" DVD´s are on their way to the judges. By the way, let me introduce the jury.

After three successful issues of the Suzuki BMXMasters the biggest BMX freestyle Contest go ahead into the fourth year and will take place from July 4 to 6 in the Cologne Jugendpark. To retain the yearly traditions we will keep up the established contest conditions: again during the three-day event the worlds best BMX riders will compete in the five different disciplines street, mini-ramp, vert, flatland and dirt. Depending on skills and the levels of difficulty there will be expert, master, amateur and pro classes. In addition, the Suzuki BMXMasters will once again support the involvement of girls in BMX, with Girls’ flatland and street disciplines.

The etnies Grounded DVD has been a major hit. Tons of video premieres were held all over the planet, trailers were shown on the internet and magazines finally were allowed to run some incredible photos that were taken during the filming of the Grounded DVD. Now the only thing that's missing is that Grounded DVD package in your collection. We have five Grounded DVD/Magazine packages available and we're going to give them away to the winners of the following competition. Here is what you have to do:

Here's an update on Jimmy's progress by Sandy Carson, and his fund raising so far since his accident. The good news is that Jimmy has been progressing pretty well since he came out his coma last week and sounds better each time I talk to him on the phone. He has been transferred from the ICU at Morristown Memorial Hospital to the JFK Brain Rehabilitation Institute and is up, shuffling around and piecing his memory back together. It'll be a long road to recovery but we are lucky that he is in the best rehab center for his injuries and has great friends behind him. The bad news is that Jimmy's insurance WILL NOT cover his rehab program which he just checked into.  The estimated total of the rehab bills is estimated at $70,000 at least and that's coming out of his family's pocket.

Too many riders are taking big slams lately. That includes a nasty one from Mark Webb. Here's what Chris Woodage reports:  "Just spoke to Webby. Yesterday at Southsea he bailed a huge frontflip landing on his ass from a great height. The hospital nearly didn't xray his back concentrating mainly on his neck but with Webbys insistence they finally took a look at his back. Now he's been told he has a broken back (L1) and is just waiting news of a possible surgery. He's in good spirits though and is fully mobile but has been told to keep still."
