The Imprint Project is a traveling gallery of black and white photographs exhibiting the global BMX lifestyle. This photography project features the works of 5 well known BMX photographers including Ricky Adam, George Marshall, Edwin DeLarosa, Jeff Zielinski, and Walter Peringer. The purpose of The Imprint Project is to grasp a deeper understanding of the worldwide cultural foundations for the sport of BMX through the eyes of the sport’s current day iconic photographers.
BMX changes so quickly. Just when you think your bike looks the part and things are never going to change, a new trend pops up. A lot of Bob Haro's drawings are from way back so seeing new illustrations pop up with modern geometry, parts, helmets and clothing is always a treat. You know what, this one even came out in colour! Troy Lee Design helmet, Ikonix number plate, Oakley goggles and gloves and (correct me if I'm wrong) Fly clip shoes. A lot of details are put into this drawing which makes it so good.
Here's Bob's description of the new illustration: "New artwork in color. Classic BMX artwork, hand drawn, digitized then finished w Adobe Illustrator and photoshop. Fun to merge my classic art with new technology. Enjoy.
With a bit of luck we'll have Bob involved in a future project. Stay tuned for that one.

Name: Niko Del Real Hometown: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico Occupation: Student
What got you into drawing in the first place? Niko: Well, I think I have been drawing for almost all my life or at least the part I remember, haha. When we're talking about the BMX cartoons, I think like 2 years or so.
You sem to have a certain style with the eyes, is that your trademark? Niko: Yes, it's some particular thing I put in my drawings to make them something more original. That makes it kind of harder keeping the similarity to the rider that I'm going to draw but it is worth it when I see the drawing finished.
Drawing BMX bikes the right way is hard, does it help you
Surely, there's no need to explain the Burning Ink event anymore. The concept is as radical and unique as before: all the
