Andreas Stevens p.k.a. dj greyboy and partner Patrick Freitas p.k.a. dj truly odd....are both hip hop dj/ producers, but also both love bmx!! 'old school' especially, and they decided that SIDEHACKS needed a revival and skateparks seemed the obvious next level. They have been having a killer time experimenting and are sharing their pics with FATBMX. The FATBMX crew used to ride sidehacks too but that was before you were born (1978) and we're not considering a comeback like Andreas and Patrick.

The partnership between Go211.com and Robinson comes at an exciting time, as BMX will make its Olympic debut next summer at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. 
USA Cycling announced today the eight athletes it will send to the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup event in Beijing, August 20-21. The competition is set to serve as the official test event for the 2008 Olympic Games next summer. Four men - Kyle Bennett (Conroe, Texas), Donny Robinson (Napa, Calif.), Mike Day (Santa Clarita, Calif.) and Randy Stumpfhauser (Sanger, Calif.) - received nominations to the team. Day, Robinson and Stumpfhauser were automatically selected as the top three riders in the 2007 USA Cycling Elite Men's BMX Rankings as of May 20 respectively. Bennett received a coaches' selection after capturing his third career world title on Saturday at the UCI BMX World Championships in Victoria, B.C.
Four women were also selected for the squad - Krystal Hime (San Antonio, Texas), Kim Hayashi (Chandler, Ariz.), Amanda Geving (Largo, Fla.) and Jill Kintner (Seattle, Wash.).

The World BMX Championships cycling competition scheduled for July 26-29 in Victoria will feature more than 2,000 riders from 39 countries. The competition promises to be a sneak preview for the event’s Olympic debut next year in Beijing. The 2007 worlds is a big points producer for the international rankings therefore the best in the event are expected to compete. ‘’The medal hopefuls for Victoria will be the same medal hopefuls for Beijing,’’ said Marischal De Armond, the BMX Worlds General Manager. 
Factory Formula Bicycles / Monster Energy / Fly Racing rolled into the ABA’s Las Vegas Nationals ready to try their luck at the ABA’s biggest national in a long while. US National Champ dR Donny Robinson, ABA National #1 Pro Woman Alise Post, A Pro Warren McDow, NAG #1 18 Expert Lee Lewis, and 13 Expert Chad Kerley all had their Solution frames set on “kill”. With such a stout roster of talent in attendance, the team also decided to put in it’s first Factory Team Sheet for the year. The stage was set for a good ‘ole wild west shootout. Donny Robinson – AA Pro – Solution Pro – Donny hasn’t done a whole lot of ABA this season, concentrating more on the UCI races. Donny wants that Olympic Gold medal bad. Saturday, dR ran well through motos, but got caught up in a first turn crash in Semi’s and didn’t make the main.
Last month the ABA was proud to announce two new ABA Canadian Tracks, and this month we are very excited to proclaim the addition of Ottawa BMX in the province of Ontario. Ottawa BMX will now become the backbone of ABA's presence in eastern Canada, and will proudly host the 2007 ABA Ontario Provincial Championship Series. The ABA Ontario Provincial Championship Series will be a great addition to the province for both the riders and the track. 
ABA South Point National Intense/Socko Factory Pro Team rider Danny Caluag rolled into Las Vegas looking to continue his year long hot streak of AA Pro and Pro Cruiser race finishes. Danny has overcame a huge injury he sustained in February and impressed the entire BMX racing community as he looks like he never missed a day of training or riding on his way to 6 wins in the ABA AA Pro Class and 8 wins in the Pro Cruiser class before the Las Vegas event. On Saturday, the big surprise of the day was the huge race turnout with almost 380 motos of hot racing action. This was one of the biggest National events in the ABA history and was a strong showing of how big BMX racing is getting, leading up to the 2008 Olympics. The Pro class also had a huge turnout and Danny easily made his way into both the Pro Cruiser and AA Pro main events. Danny started things out with a 2nd in Pro Cruiser, adding to his already points lead.
The "30 Years of Radness" European launch was held at the Village Underground in Shoreditch, London. A great night was had by all and for those who couldn't make it here are a few pictures to show you what you missed!
