The new United 2013 Recruit RNJR was born out of the requests and the need for something that sits between our RN18 bike, and the RN1. We had a lot of feedback from shops and riders alike with people that are just too small for a full size 20″ bike, but a little too big and likely to grow out of an 18″ bike quickly.
What we have created is basically a scaled down version of the RN1, which still uses 20″ parts such as wheels and forks,
but with a shorter 18.5" top tube length, shorter cranks, smaller bars & an adjustable railed seat which will work for the younger rider and be easily upgradeable as they grow.
This model features the same quality and attention to detail as the 2013 RN1 including an integrated head tube and sealed United headset, brand new United direct tyres, 25/9 gearing with a fully sealed 3 pawl alloy cassette hub which not only sounds good, but is built good.
This bike will be available over the next few weeks worldwide.
