Round 4 of the 2007 ABA Pro race events took place this past weekend Oldsmar, Florida. With all the other crazy race fans headed off to Daytona for some car race, the real race was going on for the BMX racers just outside of Tampa. Saturday had some great weather conditions for the racers, but Sunday was a totally different day with rain overnight and wind during the event on Sunday. Here is how the guys finished up:
Randy Stumpfhauser has been training hard for the past few months so he might now have been at his fastest at the last few races, but as you can see from history, Randy has been the most consistent Pro in BMX racing for the last 4 years. Oldsmar went very well for Randy as he would finish up 4th in AA Pro on Saturday and 2nd in AA on Sunday.
Now that Randy looks to be at full speed mode for the rest of the season, all the other Pros better look out!
Cristian Becerine has been the most consistent AA Pro for the past few months, and Oldsmar was another spectacular weekend for him. On Saturday, Cristian was riding well and just missed out on the AA Pro win with finishing 2nd overall and 1st in Pro Open. On Sunday, he stepped it with another big win in AA Pro. Cristian just missed out on doubling as he finished 2nd in Pro Open.
Look for all the guys to be at next weekend NBL/UCI event in Boulder City, Nevada.
