If you're like me you check the MX Supercross results as soon as you wake up on Sunday morning. Lately it has been Ryan Villopoto winning on his Kawasaki. If you watch the videos you'll notice how quick they ramble off their co-sponsors as soon as a microphone gets shoved under their nose. Months ago I received an e-mail from someone who was making a book about the Best BMX Bikes ever made. It was going to be a quality book with tons of BMX bikes in it from the early days to present. I did not know the person who sent this to me and to be honest, I receive mails from people who need help with their projects all the time. For the book I did not have much to offer, maybe the Kuwahara ET would have been an option, but I never got to it.

Peter Jandt told me once that he could pick out a pair of Vans out of a stack of shoes while blindfolded. He didn't even have to touch the shoes either. How then? It was the smell of the natural rubber.

Now that the shoes are being made in China, this trick will no longer work, but still the style is the same and the pair of RAD Authentics brings back even more memories.
