Vans’ Perris Benegas and Dennis Enarson Community and Culture BMX Collection

Vans BMX teammates Perris Benegas and Dennis Enarson may be separated by over 2,500 miles — the former calls Wilmington, NC, her home, while the latter resides in San Diego, CA — but the vast distance between their BMX-friendly hometowns belies their many similarities. This season, they’ve been brought together in an entirely new way: to create a unique collection of footwear and apparel that leads with Vans BMX Sk8-Hi and BMX Slip-On, accompanied by a brand-new BMX film, Integration, dedicated to the late Patrick Casey.

Perris and Dennis are singular talents on their bikes with a cornucopia of contest victories between them. For their new collection, Perris decided to take flight with the BMX Sk8-Hi™ in white and grey,

while Dennis, born and raised in California, opted for the easygoing BMX Slip-On in black and gum.

Both riders also created a custom logo for the collection, which adorns their respective shoe’s heel, hang flag, and sockliner. Each shoe lives up to its rider’s performance demands as well, thanks to a BMX-specific WaffleCup™ chassis made of a VDFPR rubber compound, an energy-returning PopCush™ sockliner, and a durable 10oz canvas upper.

Perris and Dennis’ custom logos are brought together across the collection’s apparel, including a reversible Torrey Jacket in black and grape leaf and a black SS OTW tee and Crew socks.

The synergy between their styles is also on display in Integration, a new BMX video that accompanies the collection and is available to watch now. Integration celebrates the community and culture of BMX, highlighting not only Dennis and Perris but also additional team riders from the Vans BMX roster.
